HOUSTON – The weather in the Houston area will continue to look and feel more summer-like this week, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

On Sunday, we saw the humidity start to increase, but there was still enough of a breeze that temps hovered in the mid-80s. We will see more of the same for the start of the work week.

Expect to see temperatures in the upper-60s to start Monday morning before they warm up the mid-80s. It is unlikely that the Houston area will see any rainfall for the next few days.

The chance for rain will not return until next weekend.

For the rest of the work week expect highs to inch closer to 90 degrees, but they should peak at about 88 each day. Overnight lows will stay pretty consistent with temps in the low-70s.
