HOUSTON -- A light mist made the roads a little wet early Tuesday, and KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson says the chance for rain will only go up this afternoon.
Far northern counties are under a Freezing Rain Advisory through Tuesday evening.
"We were under cloudy skies and slightly above the freezing mark early this morning," said Johnson. "It will remain chilly, in the 30s, all throughout the day."
There's a 70-percent chance for rain today, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
Wednesday the rain clears out. While early-morning temps will be in the 30s, the daytime hours will be a little warmer -- in the 50s.
Later this week through the weekend the sun returns along with daytime temps in the 60s and 70s.
