HOUSTON – After a soggy and cloudy weekend, there will be a small lull in the rainy weather before it returns Monday evening, according to the KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
The work week will start off with temps in the upper-40s before warming up to the low-70s later in the day. Expect see some showers move in from the southwest closer towards the evening with a 30 percent chance for rain.
However, the larger swath of showers won't arrive until the overnight hours and Tuesday morning where the chance for rain increases to 50 percent.
By Wednesday, we could begin to see cooler temps with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. More rain is in the forecast for next weekend.
