HOUSTON -- It’ll be muggy and hot again on Tuesday with a returning chance for rain and storms starting around lunchtime, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“We are going to see a similar setup to yesterday,” said Johnson. “We’ll start of dry but muggy, and we’ll see a repeat this afternoon of a few strong storms between about noon and 6 p.m.”
There’s a 40-percent chance for rain today and a 30-percent chance on Wednesday.
Enjoy the rain if you get it because the temps will start climbing soon.
By the weekend the rain chance goes away, leaving us with sunny skies and hot temperatures.
Our daytime temps will climb into the mid- and upper-90s by next week with overnight lows in the upper-70s.
