HOUSTON -- Another round of storms and heavy rain started moving in off the Gulf early Wednesday, and it won’t dry out anytime soon, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
Heavy downpours with lightning and thunder started making their way to Houston from the south in the early-morning hours.
There’s a 40-percent chance for rain Wednesday morning and a 70-percent chance later this afternoon.
A good chance for scattered storms sticks around Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Early next week the skies will clear out and our daytime temps will get back into the mid-90s.
For now, enjoy the rain and the relief from the heat.
