HOUSTON -- It’ll be muggy and hot again on Tuesday evening as a chance for rain and storms disappears.
KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner says there’s a 40-percent chance for rain today and a 30-percent chance on Wednesday.
Enjoy the rain if you get it because the temps will start climbing soon.
Afternoon showers popped up in downtown Houston around 4 p.m. There was heavy rain and lightning.
By the weekend the rain chance dwindles down to just 10-percent, leaving us with sunny skies and hot temperatures.
Our daytime temps will climb into the mid- and upper-90s by next week with overnight lows in the upper-70s.
