HOUSTON – The coastal communities could see some scattered showers in the morning, but the Houston metro area will likely only catch a stray shower on Monday.

Today will kick off several days of mostly-sunny skies with hot temperatures. The forecast high is in the mid-90s with a 30-percent chance for rain.

Tuesday and Wednesday the temps climb a couple of degrees, and the clouds start to go away.

We'll be topping out around 100 degrees by the end of the week with no chance for rain.
