HOUSTON – The work week will start off quiet with a mix of clouds and sun, but it will not be long before the area sees its fourth cold front in a month, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.
Overnight lows Sunday night will dip into the mid-50s with a temperature of 57 degrees and cloudy skies for the Monday morning commute. The high for Monday should peak at about 79 after some of the clouds start to break up.
The cold front should make its way through the area Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning with a 20 percent chance of rain Tuesday. The chance of rain increases to 40 percent as temperatures drop down again with a high of 66 and a low of 54 on Wednesday.
