HOUSTON -- Wednesday started off chilly with a little drizzle, but thankfully it’s not cold enough to cause any icing issues on Houston’s roadways.
Most of the Houston area on Tuesday received about an inch of rain. Overnight, temperatures were in the 30s and 40s across town.
“We have a little bit of a drizzle, a little mist this morning,” said Johnson. “It’s still way out west that I’m watching our next system that will bring us our next big rain chance on Saturday into Sunday. Until then, it’ll be cloudy, and you may notice a little early-morning drizzle.”
We’ll top out in the low-50s Wednesday afternoon under cloudy skies.
Thursday will also be cloudy with morning temps in the 40s and daytime temps in the low-60s.
There’s a little more sunshine on Friday before a slight chance for rain returns Saturday. Early Sunday there’s a 50-percent chance for rain.
Next week will be partly cloudy with daytime temps in the 60s and overnight lows in the 50s.
