HOUSTON – This weekend’s warming trend will continue Sunday as temps inch their way closer to 70 degrees, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
Overnight temps will start off in the low-50s in the morning, but will get up to 72 even as some clouds move into the area.
The warm air flowing in from the southeast will continue to push out the holiday chill. There is a small chance that we could see a couple of isolated showers along the coast late Sunday and early Monday.
The real chance for rain will return on Monday and Tuesday.
Afternoon highs will continue to rise daily, reaching the lower-70s by next week.
