HOUSTON – Humidity will continue to increase our daytime temperatures to near 90 degrees later this week, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
We topped out in the mid-80s with southeasterly winds Monday afternoon.
"We're building heat and humidity this week," said Garner. 'It will feel like summertime."
Temps will cool down to the low-70s Monday night.
By the end of this week we’ll reach the upper-80s as a few more clouds enter the forecast.
"This is a trend that will continue through this week and beyond," said Garner. "Our next chance for rain looks like it will be early next week."
There’s a very slight chance for scattered showers this weekend, but there’s no significant chance for rain in the seven-day forecast.
