HOUSTON -– Temperatures will continue to drop as we head into the evening hours on this wet Friday.

A cold front moved through southeast Texas earlier in the day, dropping our temperatures by about 20 degrees. Most of the Houston area will be in the upper-40s and low-50s this evening with even colder temperatures overnight.

There's a 30 to 40-percent chance for rain tonight and Saturday.

The clouds linger through the weekend along with the cold temps.

The skies should start to clear up in time for Thanksgiving, but the temperatures will remain chilly next week.
