HOUSTON -– It may be dry Wednesday morning, but our afternoon hours could bring isolated showers to a few areas, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

“We are starting out mostly dry this morning,” said Johnson. “It’s from Walker, San Jacinto, to Polk County we’re still seeing a few lingering showers, but mostly everybody is starting out dry this morning. It will be later this afternoon, just like yesterday afternoon, where we could start to see a few isolated showers or thunderstorms pop up.”

There’s a 30-percent chance for rain with a forecast high of 95 degrees today.

Looking at the seven-day forecast, the next several days look about the same: afternoon temperatures in the mid-90s with a chance for isolated showers.

Keep the umbrella nearby, and enjoy the cool-down if you get any of the rain!
