HOUSTON –- Most of the Houston area will have a nice mix of sun and clouds on Tuesday, but there’s still a chance for isolated showers.
The forecast high today is 93 degrees with a 30-percent chance for rain.
On Wednesday the rain is also 30 percent, and on Thursday it increases to 40-percent.
"Another tropical system is already developing, and it's taking almost the same track as Ingrid did," said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner. "There are two possible tracks for it, one takes it west and one takes it east. A cold front will deflect it from our area."
The system will bring an increased chance for rain later this week through the weekend, however.
Friday there’s a 60-percent chance for rain as our daytime highs drop into the upper-80s for a few days.
The chance for rain lasts through the weekend but goes away by the start of your workweek.
