HOUSTON — Don’t leave home without your umbrella on Thursday in the Houston area because there’s a 70-percent chance for rain, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.
The morning will begin in the upper-50s with a 20-percent chance for rain.
Some severe storms are expected around lunchtime when we’ll see temperatures in the mid-70s.
“The severe threat is greatest in our north and east side,” said Paul. “We could see some tremendous cloud to ground lightning.”
On Friday the clouds and rain start to move out, leaving us with a nice weekend.
“The weather will be great this weekend,” said Paul.
