HOUSTON -- Humidity returned to Houston on Friday, leading us into a weekend with a chance for rain, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.

We'll top out around 91 degrees Friday with a 10-percent chance for rain. Most of the rainfall today will be well west of Houston.

"Tropical humidity will stay with us this weekend and mingle with a cool front from the north," said Garner. "We won't have a washout this weekend, but we do have about a 30-percent chance for scattered storms."

Monday we'll have a mix of sun and clouds with a daytime high of 89 degrees.

The chance for scattered showers continues well into next week.
