HOUSTON -- Tuesday afternoon will bring another chance for scattered rain and thunderstorms to southeast Texas, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
There’s a 30-percent chance for rain, mainly in the afternoon hours.
"As of noontime, it was just a beautiful midday that was a little on the warm side," said Garner. "Later this afternoon we could have rain pop up from College Station to Huntsville and then move south."
We’ll top out around 95 degrees Tuesday, but if you get any rain it will help to cool things off a bit.
The rest of this week looks mostly the same – daytime temps in the mid-90s with a chance for rain.
It will be less cloudy this weekend as our afternoon temperatures stay pretty hot.
