HOUSTON -- There were a few sprinkles around town early Monday, but it’s muggy and warm all over Southeast Texas.
We’ll top out around 93 degrees this afternoon.
According to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson, there’s a 20-percent chance for rain Monday with an increasing rain chance from Tuesday into Wednesday.
“There’s a better chance for scattered showers starting tomorrow,” said Johnson. “We’re going to continue to see our temperatures increase widespread as the official start of summer is on Saturday.”
There’s a chance for scattered showers all this week, but the rain chance peaks on Wednesday at 30-percent.
Our daytime temps will be in the mid-90s all this week with only a little relief from the heat if you catch some of the passing showers. Overnight temps will be muggy and in the upper-70s.
