HOUSTON – It will be sunnier this weekend in the Houston area as rain pushes out toward the Gulf Coast, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Saturday there's a 20-percent chance for rain with a forecast high of 87 degrees.
It will be sunnier on Mother's Day with warm daytime temperatures, but there's still a slight chance for scattered showers.
Monday and Tuesday the chance for scattered rain returns.
Next week we will get a nice little drop in the temps. We'll be in the low-80s Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with overnight lows in the low-60s.
