HOUSTON –There is only a slight chance that the Houston metro area will catch a stray shower Monday evening as we begin to see an uptick in temperatures this week.
Monday’s forecast high is in the mid-90s with a 30-percent chance for rain. However, the added humidity will make temps feel like they are in the triple-digits. Temps will drop to 83 degrees by 10 p.m.
“It will be humid. It will be steamy,” said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner. “When you factor in the humidity, it is just going to be stifling like a sauna outside.”
Tuesday and Wednesday the temps climb a couple of degrees, and the clouds start to go away.
We will be topping out around 100 degrees by the end of the week with no chance for rain.
