HOUSTON – Temperatures will once again be in the mid-90s on Wednesday afternoon with a chance for scattered rain, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
“We started off early this morning with mainly clear skies, but later this afternoon through about 6 p.m. we could see a few showers and even a few isolated thunderstorms,” said Johnson.
There’s a 30-percent chance for showers through the weekend, mostly in the afternoon hours. We’ll top out in the mid-90s with overnight lows in the mid- to upper-70s.
Next week there’s little relief from the heat as a mix of sun and clouds continues.
