HOUSTON – Expect to wake up to plenty of sunshine as Father’s Day weekend gets underway Saturday morning, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner said.
There is a 20 percent chance of rain on Saturday with the possibility of some thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. However, the storms may never materialize, so don’t cancel your holiday plans.
Saturday’s temps will peak at 96 degrees, but the heat index says it will feel like 105.
Outside of a 10 percent chance of rain, Father’s Day should be a hot and dry holiday with temps peaking at 96 and lows of 77.
