HOUSTON – The weekend’s hot, sunny weather will continue Father’s Day, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
The holiday will start off with temperatures in the upper-70s and peak at 96 later Sunday afternoon.
Keep the heat index in mind if you plan on being outdoors for an extended period of time. Much like the last few days, the humidity will make the temperatures feel like they are in the low-100s.
There is a 10 percent chance of rain, so you may see a stray shower on Sunday.
