HOUSTON -- We’re in for another hot day in Southeast Texas with a chance for scattered showers in the afternoon, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.
We’ll top out around 93 degrees Wednesday with a 30-percent chance for rain.
“We’re going to be sticky today with a slight rain chance,” said Johnson. “And we’re going to be the same tomorrow with no relief from the heat in sight. Summer officially gets underway on Saturday.”
There’s a 20-percent rain chance Thursday.
The rest of this week through the weekend will be muggy and warm – even in our overnight hours.
There’s no significant chance for rain in the 7-day forecast.
