HOUSTON – Wednesday starts a warming trend that will last the rest of the week, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
"It's going to feel like it's over 100 degrees this afternoon," said Garner. "That's because we have a big area of high pressure overhead."
We’ll top out around 95 degrees under mostly sunny skies Wednesday afternoon. There's a 20-percent chance for rain today.
Thursday through the weekend will be a little warmer with clearer skies, but a chance for rain and a few clouds return on Sunday through Tuesday.
Next week the daytime temperatures stay in the mid- to upper-90s.
