HOUSTON –- Keep an eye on the radar Thursday afternoon as more scattered showers are expected to pop up around Houston, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
There is a 20-percent of chance for rain as we top out around 95 degrees this afternoon.
“The rest of this week we’ll see drier and drier conditions as high pressure takes over,” said Gomez.
Looking at the seven-day forecast, the next several days look about the same: afternoon temperatures in the mid-90s with a slight chance for isolated showers. Overnight lows will be in the upper-70s.
Enjoy the cool-down if you get any of the rain, and be careful on the slick roads.
