HOUSTON –- Thursday afternoon will be hot and muggy with only a few clouds in the sky, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
The forecast high for today is 97 degrees with winds only around 10 miles per hour.
“There were some low-lying clouds early this morning, but once we get into the day, any low clouds will burn off,” said Garner.
The mostly-clear skies carry over into Friday when we’ll top out around 100 degrees.
Saturday will also be hot, but a chance for rain may cool us back down into the mid-90s on Sunday.
Next week, cloudy skies bring us a little relief and drop our daytime temperatures into the low-90s.
