Houston Forecast: Heavy rain, storms possible Thursday evening

HOUSTON -- The chance for rain increases as we head into the evening hours Thursday, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.

We'll have breezy winds, cloudy conditions, and humidity throughout the day. Rain chances increase from 4 p.m. onward.

Thursday night some parts of town could experience heavy downpours and storms.

Friday stays warm and humid with a 70-percent chance for rain.

Saturday and Sunday are looking a little nicer with scattered clouds and a slight rain chance, but it will still be warm and muggy outside.

Monday and Tuesday the rain chance continues.

By Wednesday conditions will start to improve with daytime temps in the low-80s and overnight lows in the low-60s.
