HOUSTON – The cloud coverage continues to thicken Thursday evening as we get closer to Easter weekend, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul said.

Temperatures will cool down this evening to about the mid-60s, and will hover in the upper-50s for the Friday morning commute.

The extended forecast warms us to the mid-70s on Friday and Saturday. Sunday we will be in the low-80s. There’s a slight chance for rain all three days.

Another cold front heads our way next week, bringing us a good chance for rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. Daytime temps will drop back into the low-70s with overnight lows in the mid-40s.
