HOUSTON – This week will be another hot one in southeast Texas, but the chance for rain is gone, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
Temperatures in the early morning hours Monday were in the mid- to upper-70s, and it’s only going to get hotter from there.
Monday afternoon we will top out at 96 degrees under sunny skies, but the humidity will make it feel like it is closer to 100.
The forecast calls for sunny skies and hot temps in the afternoon hours the rest of this week. We will near 100 degrees on Thursday and Friday.
Looking to the Atlantic, what’s left of Dorian has a 50 percent chance of reforming back into a tropical storm. If it does, it will retain the name Dorian. Its forecast path has it moving toward Cuba over the next several days.
