HOUSTON – Big changes are the way as a cold front makes its way through the Houston area Saturday bringing cool, dry air with it, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
A cold front was sitting up in the northern counties Saturday morning, but will move south and bring with it thunderstorms by Saturday afternoon.
By 3 p.m., the rain chance increases to 40 percent as the storms move in. Hail and wind are the greatest severe threats associated with these storms.
Once the storm moves out, cold air will make its way in. Sunday will start off with temperatures in the low-50s. The temperature is expected to reach the mid-60s in the afternoon.
