HOUSTON – The great fall weather will continue into the start of the work week on Monday with cooler temps for the Houston area, KHOU 11 Meteorologist Mario Gomez said.
There is little chance for rain in the first half of the week with more dry, cooler air pushing through the area.
Overnight temperatures will be in the mid-60s for most of the KHOU 11 viewing area. Expect to see a high of 88 Monday afternoon.
Temps will move closer to the low-90 as the week goes on, but the chance of rain will not return until about late Wednesday.
The coastal communities might catch a stray shower or two from the Gulf. However, for the most part, the weather should stay cool and pleasant for this week.
