HOUSTON – Friday brings another day of drier weather in the Houston area, but the weekend will bring some changes, 11 News Chief Meteorologist Gene Norman said.

“Beautiful weather to start the day, 70 degrees here in town, but many areas north will be in the upper 60s,” he said.  “Open up those windows and let the cool dry air in.”

Temperatures will heat up again, but only into the mid 90s.

“The seven-day forecast shows the wetter weather moving in for the weekend,” Norman said. “Anywhere from a 40 to 50 percent chance for rain and that should keep temperatures down for a bit.”
