HOUSTON -- The snow and sleet have moved out of Southeast Texas, but there’s another (slight) chance for it again early Friday morning, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Brooks Garner.
“A new disturbance from California is heading toward our area right now, and we could see another round of wintry weather on Friday morning,” said Garner. “The skies will be cloudy overnight, and then scattered precipitation will work its way into the Houston area starting around 7 a.m.”
We’ll top out around 42 degrees Thursday afternoon before dropping back into the low-30s early Friday morning. Friday afternoon won’t be much warmer.
On Saturday the sun partially returns and our early-morning lows in the 30s will quickly get into the low-60s.
Sunday will also be slightly warmer as a chance for rain returns.
A good chance for rain, 60 percent, moves back into Houston on Tuesday as the temps drop back into the 40s and 50s.
