Houston Forecast: Foggy start to a rainy weekend

HOUSTON – Friday in the Houston area got off to a foggy start, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson.

Nearly all of the Houston area is under a dense fog advisory until 10 a.m.

Johnson says reduced visibilities were first reported southwest of Houston before moving northward.

This afternoon will be partly cloudy with temperatures approaching 80 degrees.

Saturday a few more clouds return with a slight chance for scattered rain.

Sunday and Monday there will be a significant chance for rain as daytime temperatures drop from the upper-70s into the mid-60s.

Tuesday the clouds move out, leaving us with cooler temperatures.
