HOUSTON – Areas of patchy fog early Monday should clear out as the sun comes up, leaving us with a warm and partly cloudy day, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

The National Weather Service issued a Dense Fog Advisory until 10 a.m. for southeast Texas.

Our afternoon temperatures Monday will top out around 70 degrees. Temperatures in the early morning hours were in the mid- to upper-40s.

The rest of this week will be much of the same -- partly cloudy skies, cool in the morning, and warmer in the afternoons.

Friday and Saturday will bring us our next chance for rain as temps in the 70s drop back into the 60s.
