HOUSTON – The sunny weather will continue this weekend, but more rain is just around the corner, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
Overnight temps will drop down to the mid-40s. Expect to see a dense fog form overnight, which should burn off with the sun by 10 a.m. on Sunday.
With the south/southwest winds, Sunday will be a little warmer with highs in the low-70s and a few clouds in the sky.
On Monday and Tuesday a good chance for rain returns as another cold front moves through. There is about a 40 percent chance for rain for the start of the work week.
The Houston area could see overnight temps drop back down into the 30s in the middle of the week before a warming trend returns next weekend.
