HOUSTON – A Dense Fog Advisory was in effect early Tuesday with reduced visibility reported around town, especially north of Houston.

According to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Chita Johnson, the fog will go away as the sun comes up.

“Winds are still on the breezy side, so we haven’t seen the fog develop on the southside like we have on the northside,” said Johnson. “Clouds will break apart later today, setting the stage for a picture perfect day.”

A dry cool front is moving through, which means our temps the rest of this week will be cooler than they have been recently.

We’ll top out around 82 degrees Tuesday afternoon under clear skies.

Wednesday will be even cooler with early-morning temps in the mid-50s and daytime temps in the mid-70s. Early Thursday some parts of town will be in the 40s.

The cooler temps stick around for the start of the weekend, but early next week we’ll start to get back into the low-90s.

There’s no chance for rain in the seven-day forecast, so now is a good time to wash the car.
