HOUSTON – The fall weather will return to the Houston area Monday after unseasonably warm temps over the weekend, according to KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.
A cold front will move through Southeast Texas first thing in the morning, but it will take some time before we feel the cooler weather.
Temps will start off in the upper-60s on Monday morning before warming up to the upper-70s in the afternoon. There will be a 30 percent chance for rain overnight early Monday as the frontal boundary starts to move through.
Come Tuesday, we will start to feel the effects of the cold front with lows in the low-50s and highs barely breaking 70 degrees.
The chance for rain will return on Thursday and will continue through the weekend.
