HOUSTON – The rain chance on Wednesday is only 10-percent and the temperatures continue to rise, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Wednesday morning will be warm and muggy with temperatures in the mid-70s.
Temperatures are expected to reach 96 degrees, but it will feel more like 100 degrees outside.
”There is a 10-percent chance for rain on Thursday and Friday,” Paul added, “which is not much of a rain chance.”
By the weekend our chance for rain goes away completely, but there is no relief from the afternoon heat on Father’s Day.
“If you are going to be outside make sure everyone is staying cool and hydrated,” Paul said.
Next week the skies remain sunny.
