HOUSTON – Expect scattered storms on Wednesday in the Houston area as an arriving cool front mixes with tropical moisture, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
“Take an umbrella with you in the morning,” Paul said. “You will need it in the afternoon.”
Wednesday morning temps will be in the low-70s and peak at 85 degrees in the afternoon with a 50 percent chance for rain.
We could receive some stormy weather on Halloween along with the heavy rain earlier in the day, but it's too soon to tell if it will carry over into Halloween night.
"There is possible street flooding on Halloween," Paul said.
On Friday, our daytime temperatures drop back into the mid-70s through the weekend with overnight temperatures in the 50s.
This weekend looks like it will be mostly sunny and pleasant.
