HOUSTON – Most of the Houston area will feel chilly temperatures on Friday before things heat back up over the weekend, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Friday morning temps will dip into the upper-40s and reach a forecast high of 68 degrees.
The cool overnight temperatures continue for the next several days, and our daytime temps won’t get back into the upper-70s until Sunday when the clouds return.
“I think the weekend looks gorgeous,” Paul said.
Across the globe, super typhoon Yolonda/Haiyan was packing winds approaching 200 mph and is being called one of the most powerful storms ever recorded. It blasted into the Philippines on Friday.
