HOUSTON –- A cool front brought scattered rain to southeast Texas on Wednesday, and KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul says we’re in for a big cool down overnight into Thursday morning.
Our early-morning temperatures on Thursday will bottom out around 50 degrees for most parts of town.
“If you have lunch plans tomorrow, you probably need a light jacket,” Paul said. “I think we may see some high clouds mixing with sunshine. It should be a beautiful day.”
Thursday we’ll top out around 66 degrees before another overnight cool down drops us into the 40s for Friday morning.
The daytime temperatures will stay pleasant through the weekend, but it will start to warm up with the return of light, scattered rain early next week.
