HOUSTON – After the rain moves out of the Houston area Saturday morning, it will be windy and cold for the remainder of the weekend, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Overnight lows will drop down into the upper-40s with a 60 percent chance of rain. The showers will hit the areas north of the Houston metro area the hardest before they clear out by Saturday morning.
After the showers move off shore, expect to see some cooler temps and gusty winds.
By Sunday, the chance for rain will go away entirely.
Next week will be a little warmer with daytime temperatures in the low-60s and overnight lows in the upper-30s and low-40s.
