HOUSTON – The coastal areas will see showers on Saturday morning, and the Houston area will not experience downpours until noon, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Temps will top off at 92 degrees on Saturday.
“I really think it’s going to be between noon and 3 p.m. that we see our biggest and baddest thunderstorms going,” Paul.
There is a 50 percent chance of rain on Saturday and a 40 percent chance Sunday.
The partly cloudy skies with scattered showers carry over into next week as well with afternoon temperatures near 100 degrees.
