HOUSTON – Colder temperatures return to the Houston area on Wednesday as we prepare for big changes at the end of the week, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Wednesday morning temps kick off in the low-30s and top off at 66 degrees in the afternoon.
“Thursday our next arctic front comes in, Paul said.
Thursday a chance for rain moves in, and the daytime temperatures drop into the 50s.
Early Friday morning the rain continues as the temperatures drop into the low-30s, creating the possibility for wintry conditions on the roads -- especially on bridges and overpasses. Once the sun comes up the roads should not be an issue, but the rain chance continues until Saturday.
By Sunday the sun returns as daytime temperatures increase back into the 60s.
