HOUSTON -- The cold temperatures and rainy weather will continue in the Houston area on Tuesday as we prepare for a couple changes later this week, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
“Far northern counties are under a Freezing Rain Advisory until Tuesday evening,” said Paul.
Tuesday morning temps in the Houston area will be in the high-30s with a 50 percent chance for rain. It will stay cold in the daytime hours and the rain chance will increase to 80 percent.
“Tomorrow evening may actually be the wettest part of the day tomorrow,” said Paul.
Wednesday the rain starts to clear out, but the chilly temps stick around until Thursday.
Later this week through the weekend the sun returns along with daytime temps in the 60s and 70s.
