HOUSTON – A light freeze is expected overnight just north of the Houston area, but temperatures will warm up on Thursday afternoon, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
The clouds are clearing out, which means even colder temperatures are expected overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning.
While Thursday morning will be a few degrees colder than Wednesday morning, it'll quickly start to warm up once the sun comes out, Paul said. Thursday temps w reach a forecast high of 63 degrees.
By Friday our daytime temperatures will be back in the 70s, and our overnight lows will be in the 50s and 60s.
A chance for rain returns this weekend into the start of the workweek.
