HOUSTON -- It will feel more like fall in the Houston area as temperatures drop heading into Thursday morning, according to KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Early Thursday, temperatures will drop into the low-50s, possibly breaking records for this time of year in Southeast Texas. It will be sunnier with daytime highs in the upper-70s Thursday afternoon.
“It’s going to be a mild afternoon,” said Paul.
The nice weather carries over into Friday and Saturday as our daytime temps start to climb back into the 80s.
By Sunday we’ll be approaching 90 degrees once again as humidity returns to the Gulf Coast.
There’s no significant chance for rain in the 7-day forecast.
