HOUSTON -- The skies over the Houston area are clear and dry for now, but a chance for rain is on the way, said KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul.
Temps will drop to the low-70s degrees Monday evening under clear skies.
On Tuesday there’s a 20-percent chance for rain with a forecast high of 93 degrees.
The chance for scattered rain sticks around through the weekend while daytime temperatures remain in the low- to mid-90s.
Looking to the Gulf, the tropical disturbance we were watching last week fizzled out over the weekend and won’t bring any significant rain to Houston. In the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Erin also fell apart, so there’s no tropical activity to keep an eye on at this time.
